How Assistive Technologies and Inclusive Practices Can Empower Women With Disabilities in Climate Decision-Making

THE STREVOW PROJECT
Strengthening the Voices of Women with Disabilities to Actively Participate in Climate Change Policy and Negotiations (STREVOW) is a project by the Inclusive Climate Change Adaptation for a Sustainable Africa (ICCASA) and the Centre for Minority Rights Development (CEMIRIDE). It aims to empower Women with Disabilities (WWD) in East Africa and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) to actively participate in climate change policy and negotiations. Funded by the Africa Climate Change Fund (ACCF) of the African Development Bank (AFDB), this project is committed to amplifying the voices of WWD, ensuring that they have the right tools, knowledge and information to be part of climate change programs designing and implementation.
